Logging in to the online part of the convention
Much of the online parts of the LAcon V convention are using a unified log-in system. This means you will be able to use the same account to access the different parts of the convention.
Why log in?
We have a lot of online resources available to everyone, such as our program guide, and information about accessibility.
However, some parts of the online convention are restricted to members only. These include things like:
- Streams and replay of program items
- Chatting in the convention Discord
- Nominating and voting in the Hugo Awards
- Voting in site selection
To access there, you will need to create an account and log in.
Who is eligible to log in?
Anyone who has one of the following memberships is eligible to log in with full access to the online part of the convention:
- Full Attending Adult
- Full Attending Young Adult
- Full Attending Teen
- Full Attending Child
- Virtual (Online)
If you don't yet have one of these memberships, you can buy one at https://www.lacon.org/register/.
If you had a membership for the Seattle Worldcon 2025, and had not purchased one of the above membership types for LAcon V before January 31st 2026, then you will have an account with access limited to nominating in the Hugo awards.

- Owned, hosted and operated by LAcon V, meaning your data remains entirely within LAcon V; or
- Operated by a third-party, , meaning only the necessary information for the application to function will be shared with that provider.
